Not Quite Ready for Primetime

I think some of the online stores still have the Besides the Bible release date listed as November 10. That is not correct, which is why the book is still listed as on pre-order two days after its supposed release. My understanding is that the book will be released next week.

A couple people have asked what they can do to help promote the book. This being our first time at the dance, we asked our publisher the same thing. Besides the obvious answers of telling your friends, blogging about it, stealthily placing it on your local bookstore’s best sellers shelves (a strategy Donald Miller claims he successfully used with Blue Like Jazz), the marketing guru at Biblica also suggested readers write up customer reviews on Amazon. That is, if you like the book. If you hate it, we ask that you please keep your thoughts to yourself, thank you very much.
